Antoine Durieux (Sibomana) is an Italian-Belgian artist based between Brussels and Rome. His practice moves between public space, site-specific installations, and film, exploring migration, exile, memory, and belonging. He began in the early 2000s through graffiti, before studying graphic design at ESA Saint-Luc in Brussels (2009). His work has since developed through direct encounters with people and communities, often in contexts marked by borders, occupation, and restricted movement, particularly across the Mediterranean.

Working across different mediums, he has developed a visual language combining black-and-white photographic portraits with painting and digital interventions, alongside installations and, more recently, moving image. His projects have taken place across Europe and the Mediterranean region, with major works in Italy, Palestine, and Cyprus, including an ongoing engagement with questions of territory, identity, and personal connection. His recent practice marks a shift toward film, extending his work into time, narration, and a more intimate, subjective perspective.

His work has been developed in collaboration with museums, institutions, festivals, publishers, and NGOs including Urban Nation Museum, Legacy of War Foundation, Mondadori Edizioni, Explora Museum, Nufactory, Emergency, Mercy Corps, Journeys Festival International, and Farm Cultural Park.
